It provides the recommended 3” WC to 6” WC (water column) pressure necessary to have robust flames while preventing the whistling sound too high of pressure causes.
- 3” WC to 6” WC OUTPUT - This adjustable natural gas regulator reduces line pressure from 1/2 psi (approximately 14" WC) to the range of 3” water column to 5” water column which is the recommended pressure for gas fire pits. Water Column (WC) is a measurement of pressure common in the gas industry. It is the pressure necessary to raise water in a column by a specified height. For comparison 27” WC is equal to 1.0 psi.
